# E2422

> Google PubSub target — Invalid BigQuery CDC row

A draft's `data` is not a plain object, its `_id` is not a non-empty string, or it owns
`_CHANGE_TYPE` or `_CHANGE_SEQUENCE_NUMBER`. The target must add the change fields to produce a
valid CDC message.

**Fix** — wrap primitive, array, or binary values in an object field; use a non-empty string `_id`
(or omit it to let the target derive one); and remove the target-owned change fields from the row.
