Eclipse, all Goerli testnets, and Fantom will be discontinued tomorrow. On June 1, Fuel and Starknet gateways will be discontinued and the Solana Mainnet gateway shrinks.
More dataset changes will follow through the year. Portal is the path forward for all supported chains.

From May 21, 2026

Retired entirely (gateway and Portal):
  • Eclipse
  • Fantom mainnet and testnet
Retired from gateway (Portal never hosted these):
  • All Goerli testnets: Ethereum, Polygon Mumbai, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Mantle, Polygon zkEVM, and Zora

From June 1, 2026

Retired from gateway (Portal never hosted these):
  • Fuel
  • Starknet
Gateway shrinks (Portal continues unchanged):
  • Solana Mainnet gateway (https://v2.archive.subsquid.io/network/solana-mainnet) keeps only the last 30 days of data. Portal continues to serve full Solana history, where 95% of traffic already lands. This is Phase 1 of the gateway’s deprecation; we plan to retire it entirely later this year. If you’re still on the gateway, migrate now.

FAQ

They stop receiving data on the cutoff date. There is no fallback. Update the data source to Portal before then.
No. Eclipse is being discontinued in full. Both the gateway and the Portal dataset are removed on May 21.
95% of Solana traffic already comes from Portal. We’re shrinking rather than cutting entirely to make the migration smoother for users still on the gateway. Full deprecation comes later.
Not in the current plan. If you need either dataset, get in touch.
