A write to the producer’s state file failed because the volume that holds it is full, gone, unreadable, or has been remounted read-only. The transaction was rolled back; the message says whether the batch had already been published, which decides whether anything needs redelivering. Fix — free space on the volume that holds the state file, or check its health, and restart. The state is the producer’s sequencer: it must live on a persistent volume sized for the outbox backlog, not on ephemeral container storage.
